Welcome

Thank you for visiting us and taking the opportunity to see what we have to offer.

As Head of Sixth, I am exceptionally proud of the pastoral support we provide for our Post 16 students; we ensure we know our students well in order to offer them personalised support throughout their time with us.

We want everyone to leave KC Post 16 on track for the next step to achieving their goals and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can support you in chasing your dreams.

Kind regards,
Abbie Mellor

Testimonials

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

Kingsthorpe College is such a friendly and welcoming school. The pastoral support is outstanding — the form tutors and heads of year really know the students and go above and beyond to help them succeed. There’s a genuine sense of care and community that makes such a difference. All members of staff have been approachable when we have needed support with all our children.

Parent

There’s such a fantastic range of opportunities available — from school trips and dance competitions to enrichment electives and the Duke of Edinburgh programme. The variety helps every student find something they’re passionate about.

Parent

My child is genuinely happy at Kingsthorpe. She enjoys her lessons, and it’s clear that the teaching staff love what they do. Their enthusiasm makes learning enjoyable, and that positivity filters through to the students.
