School Sport Partnership

In September 2004 the Northampton School Sports Partnership was formed, with Kingsthorpe as one of four intial partner secondary schools.

Within the Partnership Kingsthorpe employs an School Sport Co-ordiantor (SSCo) who holds responsibility for the development of participation levels within and beyond the curriculum at Kingsthorpe and alongside 6 partner primaries.

The Kingsthorpe Primary cluster comprises All Saints Primary, Sunnyside Primary, Green Oaks Primary, Whitehills Primary, Kingsthorpe Grove Primary and Kingsthorpe Village Primary. Each of these schools has a Primary Link Teacher (PLT) who works with the SSCo and the Partnership Development Manager (PDM) to develop PE and Sport in their Schools.
