Science

In Science we aim to provide an effective learning environment that stimulates and enhances Science through a range of teaching methods to produce high achievement.

Science is a well planned and resourced subject taught by well-qualified and experienced teachers with a variety of teaching styles with clear learning objectives and outcomes. Students will experience a variety of learning styles including practical and theory work.

Students are formally assessed on a regular basis by means of end of unit tests. There are also annual examinations in all years.

Science is part of the suite of compulsory core subjects and, throughout Years 7 to 11, covers the major aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics with elements of earth science.
