Key Stage 5

Currently, students may take Music, Drama or Dance at A2 and AS level.

Music ( AQA) - The specification includes studies of set works from the Baroque period to the 20th century; composition and performance. During A2, students also write a report, comparing 2 works of their choice.

Drama (Edexel) - The course consists of: exploration through drama (2 texts); scripted performance 1; a written paper “text in context”; devising drama; scripted performance 2 and “text in context 2” (evaluations of plays seen and performed).

Dance (AQA) - The course studies a range of Dance elements, including physiology, notation, set works, choreography (AS Solo, A2 group) and technical and performance skills. There are both practical and written exams.
