Community Sport
Hi there and welcome to Kingsthorpe College's Community Sport Page.
My name is Debbie Groom and I have worked at Kingsthorpe College since January 2007.
I am the school's Community Sports Development Officer , which involves developing opportunities that increase participation in sport and physical activity in the wider community. This includes students, parents, staff AND the local community.
I am also the School Sport Coordinator for Kingsthorpe College. Working with the Northampton School Sports Partnership, I also work to increase the number of young leaders, organise both intra and inter school sports competitions in primary and secondaries as well as taking responsibility for the KC Sports Council.
