Northamptonshire Sport
Northamptonshire Sport run a Sporting Volunteers Programme which aims to support and increase volunteering by:
- Helping volunteers of all ages find opportunities that are safe, fulfilling and enjoyable
- Supporting organisations in recruiting volunteers and promoting their opportunities
- Providing advice and resources to make managing volunteers easier

Sport Makers Programme
The Sport Makers programme, funded by the National Lottery, aims to recruit thousands of new sports volunteers aged 16 years or over to organise and lead community sporting activities across the country.
Anyone who chooses to become a Sports Maker will be given the opportunity to attend a FREE 3 hour workshop which will help them identify how they can get involved. The workshops use the magic of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire people to make sport happen for others. Everyone that attends receives a free Adidas polo shirt and bag.

Northamptonshire Sport
Northamptonshire sport provides information regarding how to get involved in coaching, current vacancies and specific training. They also offer a Coaching Scholarship Scheme to encourage and support the personal and professional development of coaches through subsidising the cost of National Governing Body coaching qualifications.
