On the 17th March, 7 year 12 students attended the Big Bang fair at the Birmingham NEC. This was such an amazing opportunity in being able to get advice from those in various sectors of science and technology to help them decide what they would like to study in the future. Students took part in many competitions and activities such as fitting a pacemaker into a mammal’s heart and being able to go inside an ambulance and army vehicle. They also got an insight to the productions of BBC where they were able to experience the magic of green screens and be a voiceover on the charts radio. We would definitely recommend going to this event if you're wanting to have a career in science/technology.
